The main priority of the Polyclinic Glavic is the safety and well-being of our patients and staff. We closely follow the daily notifications of the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control regarding coronavirus in Croatia, the World Health Organization and the Croatian Civil Protection Headquarters. Our employees are regularly tested, together we raise awareness every day and improve the education and training of all employees about the COVID-19 virus.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic and to ensure that all appropriate health, safety and hygiene conditions are in place to continue our business and that you are relaxed and safe during your stay, Polyclinic Glavic conducts all internal procedures and precautions by the requirements.
Our measures include:
Provided a distance of 1.5 m between patients in therapy and the laboratory to allow adequate space for social distancing.
🌡 All our patients, as well as the employees of the polyclinic, have their body temperature checked every time they enter the polyclinic, and all of them fill in epidemiological questionnaires.
The use of personal protective equipment during interaction with patients is mandatory (reception staff, medical staff, physiotherapists, maintenance staff). Providing protective masks for our patients on request.
🧴 Hand sanitizer stands are located in all rooms and at contact points.
🧹 Increased frequency of cleaning and disinfection of common rooms, equipment and floors is carried out by the recommendations of the WHO and ECDC (including surgeries, treatment rooms, elevators, corridors, toilets, etc.)
The use of the elevator is limited (the elevator is used only by poorly moved patients and the disabled) and frequent disinfection of the elevator control panel as well as handrails and stairs is taken care of.
🧾 All our patients are tested for COVID-19 before entering therapy.
We will update the above measures in accordance with the changes in the situation of COVID-19 and by the guidelines of the Government of the Republic of Croatia. We are closely monitoring the development of the situation and are ready to introduce all the new measures needed to ensure that our patients and employees are safe and maximally protected.
Our employees are familiar with all prescribed procedures and are trained to provide our patients with all the necessary information to make them feel as safe as possible.
